Internal Revenue Service
MANILA currently supports the IRS’ Information Resources Accessibility
Program Office by helping meet the increasing needs of their customers
by enhancing compliance efforts, supplementing the knowledge and skills
of existing program staff, and facilitating educational outreach efforts.
MANILA’s staff provides on-site technical and helpdesk call support
related to Section 508 and assistive technology. Furthermore, the staff

MANILA’s requisite knowledge and skills provides leadership towards
upfront systems accessibility, as well as infrastructure support for information
technology accommodations, which are key in helping make IRS electronic
and information systems accessible to employees and customers with disabilities.
In addition, MANILA provides 508 compliance testing, assistive technology
